Jardín de Amor

Jardín de Amor began in 2002 as a small community dining room serving daily meals to around 200 vulnerable children. In 2003 it became a transit home and by 2005 it had grown into a full internado with capacity for 60 children and adolescents. From the very beginning, committed volunteers have been essential in sustaining the mission, ensuring that every child receives not only food and shelter but also dignity, protection, and love.

Today, the internado provides safe housing, nutritious meals, and comprehensive care for 60 children and young people at risk. Its programs include formal education, character formation, cultural and sports activities, medical and dental care, and psychosocial support. The approach goes beyond immediate protection by working with families of origin to strengthen support networks and create lasting change. The foundation is grounded in values of faith, human dignity, and inclusion, and it promotes lifelong learning as a path to resilience and opportunity.

The impact is visible in the lives of the children who grow up in a nurturing environment where they can learn, play, and thrive. Families are empowered with tools to better support their children, while the community as a whole becomes more protective and inclusive. Looking to the future, Jardín de Amor continues to expand its vision with projects such as a planned innovation and sustainability campus by 2030, ensuring that its mission of love, care, and education will endure for generations.
